NodeJS Backend Developer

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Node.js Backend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend solutions using Node.js. You will work closely with frontend developers, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge applications.

As a Node.js Backend Developer, you should have extensive experience in developing RESTful APIs using Node.js and working with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL. You should also have a strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

In addition to technical skills, you should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should also have experience with Agile methodologies, code versioning tools such as Git, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js
  • Work with frontend developers and data scientists to develop scalable and high-performance applications
  • Optimize backend solutions for maximum speed and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and non-production environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and provide technical guidance

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in developing backend solutions using Node.js
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js, with a good understanding of JavaScript and asynchronous programming
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, code versioning tools such as Git, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
